Hey guys im new here

I was told this is a great forum to us to improve at injustice. i just started playing no longer then 3 weeks and and am ready to get serious and learn the game rather then spamming special moves [doomsday online]

i am stuck between picking batman and deathstroke right now but am open to play anyone.

I have alot of hours during the day to lab but would like to get some help with the things i'm doing wrong.

I have read up on batman, watched countless videos but putting the combos into a online game or even AI seems to be alittle hard.

I'm a fast learner and would love to have someone teach me a few things on where im going wrong.

I play on xbox if thats any help and use a pad but can get a stick if needed to improve.

Thank you in advance (I tried to add in as much info about how i play as i could ask if you need more!)

hi. good luck! you are doing the right thing by studying shit and trying to put it into practice. if you cant find someone to help you then try to record your matches and post them here asking for critiques. its a lot easier and youll get more responses.

Batman can be a combo-heavy character, Deathstroke has combos, but not as much potential as Batman. since you said you're a beginner like I was once upon a time (everybody was once upon a time I guess) something about the combos that can be said is do the button inputs for the chains faster than you see the character perform the punches and kicks on the screen. practice different chains and putting special moves on the back of the chains and piece combos together like that.

Would there be a easier character for me to start out with? i like the whole cast but i like batmans rush down and mix up game. i can hit his J2 123 back 2 3 for 27% and extend that with bats for around about 35% But hitting it vs my friend is so much harder (He plays black adam and seems to spam special moves alot)

man stick to batman he's a lot of fun, with combos you have to do them over and over until it becomes second nature, the way I learn combos is for example if you want to do 123, B2, Grappling hook MB, back 3, jump 3, B23 that's a lot to try to do at once,

but if you practice them separately for example practice getting down 123, B2, Grappling hook mb, once you got that down practice the rest, back 3, jump 3, B23 as a seperate string. Once you feel comfortable with both attach them together then you got a combo.

Characters have different tactics, go to batman forums and check out on the matchup discussion how to fight black adams, the dos and donts and ways to counter his defense and specials and you'll be putting your friend in a lot of trouble soon, to the point where he has to study the matchup or stand no chance against you.

Oh and you should really go to the batman combos section so you optimize your combos at all times for example it's better to do 223, b3, j3, b23 than 223, j2, b23 etc.

Welcome to the site man.

Batman is a really solid pick, you should probably stick to him. Switching to stick is not needed to improve at all, it's all about preference. If you would like to play on a pad so be it. I'm on Xbox too my gamertag is AeroGrnt (not Grunt) feel free to add me if you want, I'm always up for games and I always do my best to help people improve. :)
