And initially the day It came out I bought EGM and noticed the SP or maybe Shinnok in the background, but then I doubt Shinnok would be praying...lol

Yea I know it came from EGM but I thought it was fake because Rain was wearing his Armageddon outfit and the Shadow Priest looks like an N64 version of a Shadow Priest.

The SP looks kind of cool like that but I miss the MK2 ones more, and Rain looks just like his MKA style.

Hector said though for at least the playable guys, that they'll have not only alternates but more in the future via DLC.

You'll find out all the characters in the game, if you gather all the MK1,MK2 and MK3 characters.
And you'll find out 26 characters exactly.

They gave Rain a more "regal" look in MKA, outside of the veil mask I had no issues with it. They wanted to make him look more edenian. He's already purple lol so let's be real....no much you can do with that....could be worse though, Rain could have been pink lol. Personally, I love the fact that MK team since MK4-present(unlike SF) has actually made the ninjas not look alike, they've always felt like they had some more personality to their own unique look.

Yeah but i hope that the give them their original mk1-mk3 outfits as dlc cause of the memories u know. But i expect at least reptiles human outfit: It has to be included. Btw Rains second MKA outfit rocked IMO

If they don't add many alternate costumes in MK9 they should def release costume packs as DLC. They should have the MK1, MK2 and UMK3 costume packs. Some of the characters may look a bit plain but i'd still love to play as raiden in his old skool costume

Boon and Hector had said that DLC will have more costumes, besides the alternate via the game that we can unlock! So I'm thinking everyone will have at least 3 different looks, maybe more?

Like MK4 again! I loved H.Smoke/Scorpion look always thought that was so cool.

lol ^ yeah that's true I'm sure if Rain isn't playable most MK fans won't lose any sleep but he has been confirmed in the temple background so who knows lol.
