I played this match-up with Pig quite a lot back in the day.
It is a 5-5, but a heavily read-based match-up. One thing Raiden has going for him is that Kenshi cannot play his zoning game with overhead swords or tele-flurry, as Raiden can easily evade all that with teleport and get a combo, or he can armor through with EX Superman, which will quickly carry Kenshi to the corner. This can cause the Kenshi player to become hesitant, which opens up your options as the Raiden player.
However, as @
Under_The_Mayo correctly stated, Kenshi's EX specials are drenched in armor and can therefore exploit the gaps in two of Raiden's main attack strings: b3 1 2 and 3 3 4. So when taking the offensive, you've got to switch up your attack patterns quite a lot. If you read Kenshi's attempt at an interruption with an armored special, try cancelling your attack into a teleport. If your read is correct, Kenshi will be stuck in a recovery animation and it's time for you to inflict damage.
You can also use EX Shocker in anticipation for an interruption, but this is heavily punishable and costs one bar. Then again, teleport is also punishable, but it's worth noting. You want to manage your meter effectively while forcing Kenshi to waste his.
