Well, things like that can happen offline, too. It's just that online, lag effects your reaction time far more so when you hear some people say things like this or similar to: "If this was offline you wouldn't be getting away with that", it's mostly true.

If you play random online scrubs, expect them to act like random online scrubs that think they are the overlord of the game. That's just how it is. Their confidence is through the roof online because no one can tell them what to say, or do or how to act. That's why a lot of people here will suggest you play regulars here so that you can have nice, clean games and not worry about the scrubs.

Not high level but I am a tourney player.

Oh yes, all the time: Unfamiliarity with a matchup or they play so radically different and random from how a character "should" be played that it throws me, dropping combos and punishes for various reasons, etc..... I lost to a Cyborg that, when they were close enough, constantly did jump-in 2, sweep and, if they got the knockdown, go for a (fake) crossup into some basic combo. Next person to try this I beat but the first guy it was just like "WTF is this?".
