Question about timing online

Ok, I did a search and couldn't find anything about this on the forums so I hope I'm not repeating it and that I am putting it in the right place.
But I was wondering if anyone had any tips for becoming accustomed to combo timing online for Injustice?
I can pull off some good combos offline in practice, against the AI, and in local versus against friends but when I go online, nada, I'm lucky to get off even basic stuff.
I guess the only thing I can think off is going into online practice with a friend, but there aren't many who want to sit in there while I practice when they could be actually playing.
I'm trying to get better, but it's hard to improve with this constraint against me. Any tips would help.

Just know you have to do everything faster. You can't really practice much because every single match is slightly different. Also, there are some combos that I won't even attempt to do online. They are literally not possible.

or just play with friends till u get ur combos down online. same way i learned offline trail and error.

It could be that your connection is slow if its real consistent but even if your connect is good whoever your playing can make the game slow. Do not mess with your timing to adjust to online. There are too many factors you can't control. Just take lag with agrain of salt. If your connection is good find players with good Internet speed and play them online. My net is 50 down 25 up so anyone with the same connection there is almost no lag at all.

if the timing for a combo is super de duper strict offline dont try it online.

online shouldnt be taken too serious its just online if you have to use dumb downed combos ( like i did prehotfix with ww)
then just go with it.

hell i drop alot of my b3 combos with WW online still adjusting but i just keep trying till i get it down.

Just keep playing. Although, it never gets as easy as offline. I find I have to A mash those inputs out faster and B do the move a second before I want it to come out due to the awful latency. Also, said latency time can change player to player and that's the hardest thing to adjust to. Yeah it's stupid as fuck but that's online.

Ok, thanks for the tips, guys. I plan on playing a lot this weekend when I'm off from work so I hope that I can get the knack.
And it's frustrating when you know you could have beat some online only to take a loss because of the latency. I lost two games in a row against someone's Deathstroke last night because of it (or at least I hope it was because of it).
