Question about DLC characters in the Ladder.

I'm playing offline almost exclusively now, and I've noticed that characters that I download (Skarlet, Kenshi, Rain) appear as opponents in the 1-Player Ladder mode.

No problem... all is good.

Now the question I have is regarding Compatibility Packs. If I download the compatibility pack for Freddy to get the Unmasked Sub-Zero (but don't purchase Freddy), will Freddy still appear as a computer controlled opponent?

Good question. I have no idea. I'll tweet this thread to some peeps who might know

No. The Com packs are only for online play. It enables you to play against the new dlc character only online. I do not have skarlet on my ps3 mk and she has never been in my MK ladder, but Rain and Kenshi who I have downloaded have been.
