Q about start up frames

Hey guys,

Really quick but stupid Q. I've been learning Arrows strings on INJ2. The string 1,1 has 11 frames of start up... but 1,1,1 has 17... how does this work because surely the start of the 1,1,1 string is the same as the 1,1 string... so how can it now take longer to start up??

Thanks

Those numbers refer to the second and third hit, respectively. Green Arrow's 1 has 8 frames of start up, the second hit has 11 frames of start up, and the last hit has 17 frames of start up.

This information is usually not as relevant as the information of the initial hit, but the numbers can determine whether a string has gaps or how a string can be fuzzy guarded if an overhead and a low are involved.

Thanks for the reply - so does that mean every string featuring S1 as the first move will start up at 8 frames?? I.E. his 1,1,3 string?
