PSX version of MK4

Never played this one myself, does anyone play it ?

I heard that most people play the N64 version of MK4 ?

i got MK4 on PS1 (no emu), its scratched but it still plays fine.

also MK4 on PSX and N64 emulators

somebody needs to play me, who's up for some gg's?

Well, I trying to figure out how to play psx roms, any help would be apriciated.

Would like to give psx mk4 a try :)

epsxe is a piece of shit !!!

you have to be a computer nerd to even have it make half sense, gdi.

I had it working but it lacked sound, so after trying EVERY sound plugin it has, it turned out you had to enable some stupid option, ok great it worked.

Now, the fucking thing gives me an error "plugin not configured" .. (doesnt load games)

After configuring it 100 times and even deleting and reinstalling epsxe, i get the same error every time.

Fuck this shit.

I installed an older version of epsxe and everything works now, anyone who wants to play mk4 sometime, holler :)

Hell yeah, i was messing around with it for 2½ hours, pissed me the fuck off...

Then it worked and I was happy again, I don't like to hold a grudge lol ::|

I have played it for a little bit, it seemed ok?

I have to add that I never really played it before as I didn't like 3d from day 1, the arcades died here before I got to see the actual thing.

N64 version is better?

What are the mayor differences... ?

here are the most noticeable differences:

1. its slower, but that doesnt mean smoother
2. uglier graphics than n64
3. a lot of graphic glitches (but not that much as the pc version)
4. slowdowns
5. n64 has better pad for mk4
6. different noob fats
7. different skull stage and some arenas have different floor
8. loadings (!)
9. wrong sfx here and there

i use mupen emulator working fine but online mk4 unplayable. ''controller pak'' problem. i dont know what is that.

Hey so you can only play MK4 on mame via PSX version, not N64 version? I'd play but mame has given me issues in the past one....and two the psx version sucks compared to the N64 I agree..I used to have Mk4 for PSX, froze like nuts..N64 never had one issue....

I believe you can play the N64 v. of MK4 online, I'm not really sure though...

PSX should work too, but I haven't got anyone crazy enough to test it yet lol
