ps3 Injsutice supported fightsitck on PS4

When the game launches, and my stick plugged in, it has a popup regarding a legacy controller saying home screen and other touch activties would be disabled while using it. Ok, cool, I get that.
Now when the game launches, in game, I can't seem to use the fightstick for the inputs, it only recognizes the wireless. How do I assign the legacy controller to be the main input?

Looks like it connects, if I have both the fightstick and a ps4 wired connection to the ps4 directly.. Only thing now is, after about 5 min, the fightstick stops being workable, and only the controller works. Only way to reactivate fightstick is to shutdown game and restart it. Now the stick works again.. for the next 5 min Anyone know of a way to keep em permanently paired?

Ya, I saw that before as well, not much help there. Mine works for 5 min, then stops until next game restart.
