PS3 dual shock on PC?

Anybody ever get this to work?
I have mij and btrds both, my pc can see the controller but it won't budge in-game.

Are you using a driver program? I use Motioninjoy DS3 tool to make the computer think it's an Xbox controller.

EDIT: Right, sorry, abbreviations... If you're talking about MKX, you don't even need a program to use it. But I'm using it because the buttons are switched if I don't.

Wait, I don't need software?
Any idea where to get a working driver then? Win8 itself doesn't seem to do much for it.

Well, I tested my PS3 controller before using Motioninjoy, and it was working, so it would be working on windows drivers. Now, I'm on Windows 7, so I'm not sure if that should make a difference.

It just might because for me, it doesn't work with or without.

Don't need motionjoy, it will make your ds3 plug n play.

Even has software to auto switch the triggers.
