Projectile Trading in MKX

I saw it yesterday and assumed that I missed something and that it was already common knowledge... I guess not?

At 2.11, Quan-Chi and Sub-Zero's projectiles meet in the middle, after which Quan-Chi's skull disappears (I'm assuming because Sub-Zero used EX-Iceball, similar to SF) and he gets frozen while Sub-Zero remains unscathed.

Now many of you are probably thinking: "Well it just looks like Quan-Chi got frozen before his skull hit".

A) Quan-Chi's skull may not disappear if he gets hit. Even if it did, Iceball doesn't do any damage so the projectile wouldn't disappear any way (in the next video the Ice Clone stays, even when Sub-Zero gets frozen).

B) You can see the EX-Iceball and Skull clash in the middle and spark up.

At 1.02, the Ice-ball trades with and shatters the Ice-Clone, which could technically count as a projectile because he throws it.

Yeah someone noted that a couple of days ago. I think only the EX iceball trades not the regular one.

Apparently sub vs sub the clone acts like a shield/wall to ice blasts that's cool. (pun not intended)

And the first video I rewatched a few times I believe he did use his EX iceball cause you see his meter disappear a little, it's hard to see but between that and NRS said that ex moves have armor so there you go.

The only morality in a cruel world is chance.
I wonder if enhanced projectiles take priority over normal projectiles.

Iceball MB > normal projectile, we will do some more test on tomorrow for ex projectile vs ex projectile.

Subzero clone is a wall than can stop every projectiles. It's a kind of shield.

This is not D'Vorah who breaks the clone at 1:05, it is her larva. ;)
