The final interview of the day is one of my personal favorites of the lot. It's with EGP_TYRANT, who some believe is the absolute best Jax player in the Mortal Kombat community. I reached out to Tyrant on Twitter and he was willing to answer the questions that I had for him. He gave some excellent answers and took part in another hype NRC interview for MLG Dallas. In this interview, Tyrant and I discuss: whether or not he owns a copy of Mortal Kombat, how he maintains a high level of play, responds to CD jr's claim as the best Jax in the world, hypes up MLG Dallas, predicts himself to place top 8, talks about DAB, his extremely hype saga with GGA Dizzy, lists his biggest threats going into MLG Dallas, I ask him a question about one TomlulsBrady and much more. LBSH all of us - This guy is a f ing beast ever since he exploded onto the scene at evo 2011

He was the first Jax and is the only jax and he has never downplayed his Main.

He's stuck with him from beginning to end and thats why he's a champion

edit: Ill never forget hecter sanchez (producer of mk9) face when he saw the way tyrant was blowing up people w jax, him and brian lebaron were going ape shit about how he was using jax in corner and in general

He's constantly inspired me to learn jax and also to keep on trying to up my game just to be able to give him a challenge. There was never a time that he wasn't the best jax

It brings a tear to my eye to have bear first hand witnessed to how far EGP tyrant (the greatest jax of all time) has gone since EVO 2011. Ah, yes I remember the nostalgia it felt like it was yesterday sitting in stream chat and trolling away and then hearing about the last match before top 16 would be with Online tony which at the time was arguably the best kabal in the world, and a JAX player.

I literally remember the shock I had thinking a player using "trash jax" made it this far. Every tier list said jax was bottom, Dr dogg in the earlier days argued over and over jax was the absolute worst character in mk9. I honestly believed Jax was the reason I sucked so hard in mk9 early day. Low and behold In a stunning spectacular Tyrant bodied Online tony and showed the world Jaxs true potential. Most inspirational moment for me in mk9 history. Man, evo 2011 was so amazing it was so much more epic than evo 2012.

I also want to add that Tyrant has been responsible for some of the absolute hypest matches we've seen in MK. Especially these last few months.. The set vs. Jr before MLG, the matches at anaheim, vs. Bit and Dizzy at arena, vs. pboard at EGP, etc.

Kudos to T for keeping that fearless playstyle and continuing to adapt.

Tyrant has true character loyalty, and i respect that. Tyrant top 8 at MLG for sure, this MLG is so hype, i cant wait!!!

MAAAAAAN, Tyrant is such a boss. He is the #1 reason why I play Jax, and have been working so hard to improve my game with him.

Tyrants the reason I play Jax! He is a beast, he sticks to his character, and that's why he's the most entertaining and hype Jax to watch! I hope you release the new tech after Dallas, man new tech!

I seriously think this 1 post nobody has paid attention to. Is Tyrant not the most entertaining Jax to watch? Please guys, I think we can do a lil more to get him just a copy of the game - even if we got him money for 10 CD's he deserves it. Like Qwark28 said, $400+ donations for someone to attend a tourney, how much for a copy of the game for the 'TyJax' we love? I also play Jax just because of him. I live in Ghana (Africa) and cannot donate but I say all I can for this guy called Tyrant, aka 'TyJax'. Tyrant is, and will forever be my fav Jax player of all time.
