Possibility of MadCatz Sponsorships in 2015

We all can see that it's a pretty exciting time for fighting games, with exposure growing and prize pots increasing to unprecedented levels. There really is no better time to get involved in the tournament scene if you've been thinking about it.

Mark Man (Mark Julio) has made an important announcement on behalf of MadCatz, stating that they are looking to sponsor more members of the FGC based on "reach and personality, NOT results". This means that you DO NOT have to be a top player with an impressive FGC resume already to be in with a chance of obtaining a MadCatz sponsorship.



So, whether you're already a tournament regular, but wish you could travel more, or are just about thinking of getting involved, hit up @MarkMan, follow him on twitter and get involved. You have nothing to lose and could gain A LOT.

I'd love to get sponsored but since the game isn't even allowed where in Germany I don't think I can get a German sponsor. Is cross country sponsoring even a thing? Also if reach means a big youtube/twitch following then RIP my dream, never allowed to live.
