Player for recordings on kaillera.

Somebody knows if there is a way to convert kaillera records (krec) on video file directly or a krec player with capabilities to move forward or backward? I use a screen recording after play the krec file, but this is a tedious task sometimes, if you want a specific part of the whole recording. I found this guide but dont know if worths and/or works for mame

I usually record "on the fly," but that takes some processing power to do without causing lag. What you could do is, throttle and unthrottle the game during playback (its the f10 button for mame32k .64) this would be the same as fast forwarding. I'm pretty sure this would work.

You can't speed up the game while playing back a .krec file because kaillera disables that feature. You could use mame++ 0.117 and get it to save a .inp file. An inp file is basically the same thing as a .krec, except speed up isn't disabled when playing it back.
