Pittsburgh Area Meetup

Hi all,

I wanted to see if anyone around the Pittsburgh area would like to have some weekly or bi-weekly meetups. I would be willing to host--I have two setups (PS3). Also, I was talking to someone that owns a store and is willing to organize an MK tournament in early July. He would need at least 8 people to commit. I'd really like to get a local scene going for MK, so post if you are available to play!

I'm still working on my game (I'm nowhere near high level caliber yet), but once I get to that point, which I plan to do, I would certainly join in on a Pittsburgh tourny. I'm a 360 player but I'm planning on getting a fightstick w/ converter for ps3.

sorry for responding late, but i'd love some offline practice. i recently picked up the pdp marvel fightpad instead of spending more money for a stick, so i might get a converter for that soon (or just another one for ps3 if i can't easily find that). i've had friends visit for the past week so i'm a bit out of practice anyway, and will be going out of town in a week or so. other than that, this week or after my trip i'll be mostly free for some casuals.

i'm up north of the city (gibsonia/wexford/cranberry area), but i'll be willing to drive somewhere as long as it's within 30 mins or so.

Just wanted to give this thread an update--rev0lver and I have been meeting a couple times a week for matches. I have a third player that sometimes stops by, so we're going to try to get everyone up on the same day. Anyone else from the area is welcome to join--there are some great matches happening =)

Yeah me and Error Macro are still playing most weeks at his place (idk if he checks TYM anymore) and we're both going to Summer Jam if you're interested in joining us too. His place is in Coraopolis, so send me a PM if you're interested and I can give you his info.

And THTB I've heard good things about you so I'd love to play with you sometime. Since Pittsburgh only has EM, me, and possibly another right now it might be better for us to do sessions in Youngstown if you have a bigger group there.

Sorry for not reying sooner, but my laptop broke, so no PC

I'm fefinitely interested in getting some games in, whether it's at my place offline down towards Youngstown. If Revolver pm'd you the address, feel free to stop by today anytime after 5. I think someone said they were free next Monday or Tuesday, I'll pm you my address and phone number and we can definitely get in some games next week. I'm excited the thread picked up some steam--post back or pm me or Revolver if you have any questions on anything (directions, etc.)
