Performance After Connecting Playstation 4 to Xbox One

Does anyone here own both of the next-gen consoles and have their Playstation 4 connected to their Xbox One and play it that way?

I'm wondering if having the PS4 run through the Xbox One creates any substantial lag while playing any PS4 games.

Yes, there will be a noticeable amount of lag.

Why not just switch the HDMI cable between the two?

Well, I just got my PS4 last night.

Right now, with my Xbox One, I have it set up where: if I turn on the console, it will also turn on my tv and soundbar on its own. But for any situations where I just want to play PS4, I'll have to bust out my remote for my tv and manually turn on the soundbar (I lost the remote for it). If I had the PS4 running through the Xbox One, I could save this functionality.

But if it does lag, then I will just grin and bare it. I might look into just picking up a universal remote.

Early on after both consoles were released, a performance study was conducted and it was rather poor from what I recall. It really doesn't work great at all. It's not worth doing.
