PDP stock stick removal

What is the best way to remove the stock stick from the MK PDP t.e.?

I am having a hard time getting the nuts off the screws. (Gotta be a better way to say that...)

Any tips are appreciated.

If you are switching it out for an I.L. Eurojoystick than dont even bother with the base. The mounting base on the Happ and I.L. are identical. Just unscrew the plate with the microswitches on it and replace it with the I.L Cherry microswitch plate. Use the I.L. shaft spring as well as its a bit firmer than the Happ one.

yup dark_rob has it right. I think behindthelight also had a video about it..not sure I learned about the upgrades from asking him. MK community is amazing you guys are always helpful. I/L + The buttons he told me about are amazing upgrades.

I did a great job... stripping the screws. Hopefully another pair of needle nose pliars will solve the problem and get me going.
