PDP Mods, help me and everyone else out with this FAQ!

so i lost the thread in which there was this discussion. but what site are the recomended I.L. parts best purchased from? and how exactly do you install these parts. i was satisfied with the layout and all of the PDP stick but disappointed in the parts, especially when going ul/dl/left on the stick (lack of registration). im thus looking to replace buttons and the stick and whatever else is advised, thanks in advance!

Here is everyting you need to mod the PDP with I.L. parts.

I.L. Eurostick: http://www.paradisearcadeshop.com/en/161-il-eurostick-joystick-yellow.html (you can get em in any color, I just linked yellow) If you want to stay in black and they dont have that color, just order any color and reuse your stock HAPP shaft and dust washer.

I.L. concave buttons: http://www.paradisearcadeshop.com/en/263-red-il-concave-pushbutton-psl-l.html (dont forget to select Cherry microswitches at the bottom)

I.L. convex buttons: http://www.paradisearcadeshop.com/en/172-blue-il-competition-pushbutton-psl-l.html

Cherry micoswitches(cuz they are always good to have kicking around): http://www.paradisearcadeshop.com/en/59-50-gram-micro.html

iL beats Happ every time. Order
an iL Eurostick, take it apart and use its parts to replace the ones in the stock PDP stick. You'll get a tighter, better-built stick with better microswitches.

As far as buttons go, it's a matter of taste. I suggest people order a mix of concave and convex iL buttons, and a variety of microswitches, as none of this stuff is expensive.
I ordered both kinds of buttons, and sets of 20-gram (light, easy to press) zippy switches and 75 gram (medium heavy, what arcades in the US used when you were growing up) Cherry switches to discover for myself what I like.
Aside from that, you can further customize the feel of the buttons by choosing to remove or leave in the springs. Removing them makes the buttons sit a little lower but less springy.

as long as it makes my inputs on the stick part easier, im buying this.... ASAP. because my diagonals on stock pdp you have to get in 1 spot or else u do back or up. its making me angry

If anyone is interested in modding their sticks more... we just got in hollow shafts for the IL Eurosticks. So now you can go ball top and light it up!
