PA/NJ/DE/VA Monthy Venue: PLEASE READ

In the King of Prussia Mall, right outside Philly; a store is very interested in hosting bi-weekly or monthly Mortal Kombat events. I told them the prospects it could bring to their store; presented the with the research of average weekly stream watchers and the money involved from tournaments like MLG, EVO, and tournaments like Flawless Victory.

What they have to offer is a perfect location in America's third biggest mall. Enough space for 6-7 set ups. FIOS connection for streaming. Cheap venue fee ($10). In mall food locations ranging from cheap fast food (Taco Bell) to awesome restaurants (Cheesecake Factory, Ruby's) to bars (Rock Bottom)... looking at you Maxter. Also there is the Valley Forge Casino and Radison hotel a block away for people who wish to travel and make a weekend out of it. Also, there is my house; which at this point I would say 70% of the North East MK players have visited.

What we offer is a nice tight scene that is extremely dedicated in what we do. I honestly think we can bring them in more revenue by simply featuring them on TYM and SRK. Everyone loves an indi-game store/comic shop.

What we need to bring are the set ups and the people. They have the ps3's and game, but lets face it; MK needs ASUS monitors to be played on. If someone like N0rdicNinja or SWBeta would be willing to help run this event and make it part of their MAK team by providing monitors; we could really be on to something here.

So, I want to present these possible hosts with a list of people interested in either attending to play MK or willing to help run this scene and get it started. I know the WNBA is down for this; anyone else interested?

There are a lot of buses to take to/from King of Prussia for dirt cheap. For instance a bus from Allentown or Philly to the King of Prussia Mall is $5.

And again, anyone who may have issues with making a trip for a 1 day purpose can contact me for a place to crash as long as you're cool.

Less stores = more noise you can make I guess lol... also it's better than Texas and their bathroom tournaments.

When I lived in Pittsburgh there was this creppy fucking mall I would walk through every day to school. It had one store out of a possible 30ish.

With the amount of talent between the aforementioned states (and MD), it's not unreasonable to believe this could become the next VSM. The only difference would be, instead of flying under one banner, we'd be a scene composed of various subgroups.

We'd have to create a name to denote our newly assembled consortium. My personal suggestion:
