I'm curious how do. I handle a lost I only play one character and sometimes I lose with her cause of the match up but when I do win I feel rewarding with a bad match up so is being character specialist bad

Don't let it get to you so bad... Matchups suck sometimes and you gotta either learn it and do your best or pick a secondary. That's about it

That idea of "oh I lost because it was a bad match-up" has never helped anyone improve. If anything it just means you actually need to try and learn it.
