Cards & Comics provides 2 TV's & we provide the systems just bring sticks. Oh & this is family orientated place so cursing & being too loud is kind of a no go. We didn't make the rules but we need to follow them or we get the boot. Please keep that in mind.

==========================================================

Because this is a family oriented place
1st remember NO CUSSING!

2nd Mortal Kombat is kind of, you know, NOT family friendly, so we play with no blood code (9-0-0) and have a third set up facing away from the store where we play MK on. We can play openly around 8 or so.

hey vilmon, I had a chance to check the oly fightklub tonight and it looks like a really cool group. We were in a little bit of a rush and I wasn't able to stay longer, but are the meeting times in the shoryuken forum still accurate? Is there anything I should know or bring the next time I come and stay longer?

But yeah, this is a cool night for any Olympia fighting curious. The night I visited they had three tvs and SF, MvC3, and MK set up, and all the players were nice and the atmosphere was really inviting. Plus, there were some really good MK players with great Nightwolf and Johnny Cage games.

Hey folks, I was one of the guys who came in for MK9 and just wanted to say we all had a really good time and everybody was super nice.

It's also a great no-pressure environment to brush up on your skills, so if anyone has a character they'd like to learn more about or is interested in some coaching by all means drop in. It's always great to have new players, and I at least for one would be totally willing to help out anybody looking to get into the game or even just work out some kinks.

Heh. Besides, my SFIV play sucks right now. I'd gladly trade somebody some MK lessons in exchange for a couple SF tips. :)

Thanks again and we'll see you guys next week! Keep fighting the good fight!

Ah sorry for the delayed response in the last couple of weeks I've been on vacation. Yes our times are accurate on the SRK page. Thursdays 5ish to midnight. I'm glad some people made it, my friends told me about it, unfortunately I wasn't able to make it that week since I was on vacation but I'm back now and look forward to seeing some new faces.

I just played in the PAX MK tournament and beat everyone in casuals but lost to a Sektor! Arg! I need more matchup experience. But I had a ton of fun and it really made me enjoy the MK scene.
