Offline Washington D.C Scene

I want to start this thread to find some players in the area in/around D.C.

Where are some local places people play? Is that Xandu place near baltimore any good?

What about local tournaments? Southern MD, and Northern VA esque area. I know there is one in fairfax this weekend but anything else going on?

free to play casuals, $5 venue + $5 entry fee for tournaments

Other than that and the monthly tournies in fairfax, i don't know of any other places where people regularly meet up to play MK around the metro area

There is no scene in the Bmore area for MK. I have asking/searching as I'm the main person in the area interested in leveling up/competing in this game. The real close scene is VA.

We do some offlines in DC, gave up on going out to VA as the places are too far out and bmore can go get fucked.

Xanadu Games is the place for you guys. I have been there and it's awesome. They lack Mortal Kombat, but that's where you guys cam come in to play. I've been there multiple times and can tell you that MOST of them also attend NE majors and Evo. They also have a great Chinese place nearby that delivers to their frequently.

Also, it's about an hour from me and they usually do fighting games on Wednesday nights. I miss going.. I've met SWBeta there as well as @Ezail
