NRF is a dedicated online/offline level-up Team on XBL.

We are stoked about your interest in joining NRF, the prospecting process, while simple is not short and sweet. We do not do tryout lobbies, have stages to go through, nor do we have only a couple people doing our recruiting
Before we get into all of that, here's a little back story:
NRF does things a little different than most clans -- Because we are not a clan, we are a TEAM
- 1. We do not have squads | Every member of NRF is just that, an equal to all of his peers and has just as much of a say in what goes on with possible new members as the leadership does.
- 2. Decentralized Leadership | NRF Operates under a leadership committee comprised of 5 members of the team. No leader out-ranks another, the leaders act as a democracy. All 5 votes are equally weighted and no single leader may make a command decision regarding recruitment, agenda or anything that affects the clan as a whole. All inter-clan issues, and final prospect voting is done by this committee by a vote. An odd number of players is kept in leadership to keep from ending up with any tie-breaker situation.Other than this slight decision making responsibility, the leaders are no different from members.
First and foremost assess whether or not you meet the criteria listed below:
- You must not be a part of another clan, if you are and still wish to prospect, you must respectively resign from your current clan. We will check up on these so please don' try to screw us around, we'll know.
- Can you practice at a scheduled time at least once a week?
- Are you willing to actively help others with your character's match up, and not hold on to tech that could help the team as a whole level up and advance our grasp and advancement of the meta-game? We're all here to learn and get better as a team.
After you have decided that you meet these criteria, post up in this thread telling us a bit about yourself by answering the following questions:

Whats your first name? (A lot of us are on a first name basis with one another, hell, many are friends on facebook)
What fighting games are you currently playing?
What non-fighting games are you playing?
What area are you from? You never know if you have another NRF in your back yard to play offline with.
Have you ever played in tournaments for MK9 or Injustice? Do you plan to?
What are your goals as a competitive fighting game player? And what seems appealing to you about being part of NRF?
Can you take constructive criticism? We all see different things at different times, and the more eyes we have one one another's game, the more we are all able to help one another.
Would you like me to dance for you on skype wearing slightly provocative attire?

Once you have posted in the thread stating your intention to prospect, you will need to send messages to all members you can, whose gamer tags are found at the top of this post or in our main TYM clan thread:

Send them a message saying you are prospecting for NRF and get some casual sets(FT5 or FT10 preferably)set up with our team. We will help you along, but will not hold your hand. Setting up matches and communicating well enough to make them happen is up to you. Once you have played everyone, keep playing. This is a process, not an event and may take a week or two until everyone on the team has weighed in and the vote is taken up by leadership. We want to KNOW, beyond the shadow of a doubt that you want to be a part of the team, and how persistent you are in setting up your matches is a big indicator of this.
If you get the green light, we will help come up with some areas to focus on in your game and help you work on them, as well as things that you feel could use improvement. We want you to enter NRF with no doubt that you will be leveling up. That is our entire goal, I can not stress this enough.
And lastly - SUBSCRIBE TO THIS THREAD WHILE PROSPECTING. You don't want to miss any updates, and it just makes it easier for everybody by taking advantage of the notification system here on the site.
