We are pleased about your interest in joining NRF, but before you begin, here are some key pieces of information you need to know:

We are pleased about your interest in joining NRF, but before you begin, here are some key pieces of information you need to know:
NRF does things a little different than most clans -- Because we are not a clan; we are a TEAM
Please assess whether or not you meet the criteria listed below:
- You must not be a part of another clan. If you are and still wish to prospect, you must resign from your current clan. It is also STRONGLY encouraged to prospect for only one clan at a time. This demonstrates loyalty, focus, and dedication.
- Can you practice at a scheduled time at least once a week?
- Are you willing to actively help others with your character's match up, and not hold on to tech that could help the team level up and advance our grasp and advancement of the meta-game? We're all here to learn and get better as a team.

After you have decided that you meet this criteria, post up in this thread telling us a bit about yourself by answering the following questions:

What fighting games are you currently playing?
Have you ever played in tournaments for MK9 or Injustice? Do you plan to?
What are your goals as a competitive fighting game player? And what seems appealing to you about being part of NRF?
Can you take constructive criticism? We all see different things at different times, and the more eyes we have one one another's game, the more we are all able to help one another.
Give us an example of a time when you've been rage quit on or received hatemail. What was your response? What did you do?
What is your internet connection like? Are you wired or wireless? Preference will STRONGLY be given to prospects who are wired and have a good connection. Please post a pic of your speedtest.net results if possible.

Once you have posted in the thread stating your intention to prospect, you will need to:
1. Send messages to all of the leaders/advisors, whose gamer tags are found at the top of this post or in our main TYM clan thread: http://testyourmight.com/threads/nrf-nether-realm-fighters-official-team-thread.34613/
2. Send them a message saying you are prospecting for NRF and get some sets (FT5 or FT10 preferably) set up with our team. We will help you along, but will not hold your hand. Setting up matches and communicating well enough to make this happen is up to you.
3. Once you have played everyone, keep playing. This is a process, not an event and may take a week or two until everyone on the team has weighed in and the vote is taken up by leadership. We want to KNOW, beyond the shadow of a doubt that you want to be a part of the team, and how persistent you are in setting up your matches is a big indicator of this.
If you get the green light, we will help come up with some areas to focus on in your game and help you work on them, as well as things that you feel could use improvement. We want you to enter NRF with no doubt that you will be leveling up. That is our entire goal, I can not stress this enough.
And lastly - SUBSCRIBE TO THIS THREAD WHILE PROSPECTING. You don't want to miss any updates, and it just makes it easier for everybody by taking advantage of the notification system here on the site.
