Question No hope for Lobo?

Just a quick question I wanted to ask you Lobo enthusiasts here.

Do you think Lobo will be overshadowed by the upcoming downloadable characters to be released in the near future?

The reason why I ask this is because a couple of the Ohio guys and I were talking, and we feel as if Lobo hasn't gotten enough time as a new flavor yet. Whether you think he's good or not, I always believe in characters eventually being developed to be a formidable foe as the game ages and people learn new things about it. Usually when there's that single unlocked character out of a whole bunch, people usually flock to the new flavor and attempt to figure out his inner workings (for lack of a better phrase).

Think back to games where you KNEW there were a plethora of characters to be unlocked, and whenever you unlocked a single one, didn't you want to at least try him out for a spell?

The Injustice Twitter account confirmed Batgirl to be available for download next Tuesday, May 21st.

Do you think it's a bit too early for a new flavor to be released when Lobo hasn't even been out two weeks? Or does it not even matter?

What are your opinions?

I'm entirely cool with it, but I'm a bit biased. I'll always keep a pocket Lobo as he's just fun(and a big fan of the old comics), but Babs looks like a character more in line with my traditonaly preferred playstyle(and well I'm hoping for a Cassandra or Stephanie alt, I like babs okay, but definitely have preferences).

Those who love Lobo will no doubt stick with the main man as he still oozes personality and while online lag isn't his friend I'm sure offline tourneys will eventually see a Lobo specialist pop up at least

This doesn't mean there is no hope for Lobo at all.

I guarantee if it turns out that Batgirl isn't straight forward friendly then there will be someone that will call her bad.. Then there will be a "No Hope For Batgirl?" thread when the next DLC is released lol.

Maybe the title was a bit 'out there', but from what I've seen, everyone in my circle was just too quick to judge Lobo as a rather underwhelming addition to the cast. I haven't really even met any Lobo players online or watched in respective local tournaments (NLBC, 8OTB, etc)

I am pretty sure, someone, who respects challenge is hammering away as we speak to show us what Lobo can be in skilled hands. We just have to wait for it.
