(NJ, PA, NY ) Tournaments

Hey,

I'm pretty new to the whole fighting game community. For the longest time I just played caually with my friends. But one of my friends and I are pretty interested in playing competitively with other gamers in the scene. However, we live in South Jersey and there isn't much of a budding gaming scene (much like the heavy metal scene) it's pretty dead. Last place I went for MKX was at this gaming event in AC which had MKX but was dropped due to a lack of MKX players.

I was wondering if there were some places closeby or areas that have a scene that we could go to play. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

I guess I just need to wait until a tournament is closer to my area... or I could fly out lol
