New to TYM, Cleveland gamer

Hey all, Eijiken here, out of Cleveland, OH and I'm looking to get back into the fighting game scene after logging most of my time in the FPS and Bemani world.

Injustice has been my game of choice lately and I am quite in love with Green Arrow and my new main, Solomon Grundy...I just need to get acclimated to button combos and learning BnBs.

And i need to invest in some sticks too cause pad isn't doing it anymore. Any recommendations on some for this game?

Feel free to use whatever stick you feel most comfortable with, I personally play with a Madcatz TE stick, but you can use just about whatever you feel like and it'll work fine for this game.

If you're looking to get into the offline scene I think there is a good amount of players in Ohio. I think PLAYING TO W1N lives in Cleveland or close to it.

I must say you have a good taste in characters (I play Grundy and Green Arrow too). If you're on Xbox and don't like the pad you could invest in a PS1/2 -> Xbox 360 pad converter like a Xtokki 360 and play with a PlayStation pad, much cheaper than buying a stick (unless you can get one extra cheap). I own a stick too but it wasn't my cup of tea for MK and Injustice so I went with a converter and PS pad. Hope you enjoy your time on the site.

Welcome to TYM. There are a lot of excellent players in the greater Cleveland area. I am pretty sure a lot of guys meet up for casuals at least once a week pretty close to downtown (Ohio City). PLAYING TO W1N can give you more info than I can though.
