New to MK Coming From Soul Calibur

Hi everyone. I'm new to both MK and TYM, but I'm having a lot of fun with MKX. I'm looking to get better at the game but it's quite an adjustment coming from Soul Calibur V. I'm playing on PC until it comes out for Xbox 360.

Any tips on connecting combos and general game strategy would be appreciated. Also, I use an arcade stick, but I haven't quite figured out a comfortable button configuration. Thanks in advance.

Hello there! I've also come to this game from Soul Calibur 5, it's nice to see another Soul player here. I couldn't give you any tips I'm afraid as I'm still learning myself, but I hope you have good luck playing!
