Im just throwing this out there.... I love seeing rankings since my background and true love is Sports based... But I do know that any Ranking system in any sport (esports) included will be very controversial to a certain degree.

Thoughts? on CURBOLICOUS Tom Brady CD jr REO Pig Of The Hut etc etc etc

My issue with statements like this isnt that YOU'RE trashing a system, thats fine, BUT only if you can put forth an idea (at least) for a "better" system.

I personally give the guy(s) props who does this system. Its always up to date after an event so we know the effort is in place.

Id probably say if you make Top 16 at a major you get a flat bonus of 25 pts... If thats the case Tom Brady would be up a little higher for sure as well as others..

Awesome list. Agree Tom should be ahead of Curbo, but Curbo does deserve to be on this list.

Oh im not denying Curbo shouldn't have his spot, he had probably one of the toughest paths to fight through. Brady has consistency in the top 16, top 8 in the past tourneys. This was curbos first tournament and he went past alot of good people in the system. I feel that, even though he did outstanding, we should wait for maybe 1 or 2 more tourneys before we come to the conclusion that he is #11 or even higher. Thats just my 2 cents, and I do see your point.

Edit: Brady finished what, 16th? 16th out of 92 people is pretty dang good which should be noted. 1 outstanding tournament finish shouldn't INSTANTLY over come consistent finishes. Thus why I really want to see curbo at more tournaments

Curbo proved that you can not zone his Cage out. And if you get predictable with fans, and put yourself in a corner, you are screwed.

you guys are right, Tom has never beaten anyone good ever. he should be dropped off the list complately right? LOL, you guys have a funny way of "supporting" hahahaha. Losing to a kitana with sub-zero in the only match that they have even faced each other in(tournament wise) for sure means Tom needs to come down. CURBO beating good players once shows that you sould be over someone who does it and has done it multiple times.

CURBO proved he is a very good player, but shouldnt it take more then then ONE performance to be on this list? at least to be ranked in the top 10-12?

I don't know how it should be done, but this ranjing system is bad.

Like i said before, I'm not saying that he didn't have a tough path, in fact I said he had the hardest. I'm simply saying that getting into the the BEST of the BEST should have higher requirements. Yes he did blow past some of the best players, but consistency rewards more than wins. I like to envision a nascar race. Driver #1 has 3 or 4 wins in the season and some random placings for the races, while driver #2 finishes in the top 10 and even top 5 some times in every race. Driver 2 always receives more points because the cup rewards on consistency as well as wins. 1 Major #4 place finish shouldn't push him past people who are constantly placing top 16. I still do believe Curbo deserves a spot in the best of the best, but not just #11 quite yet.

Who knows, he could be in top #5 in the next few tourneys.
