New Images of Pluto: The 3 billion Mile Journey

Image from the New Horizon's Spacecraft from NASA

To the left Charon (Pluto's moon) and right Pluto

Previously before, NASA had only pixelated images of Pluto from the Hubble Space Telescope. Today, new images have emerged from the roughly 10 year, 3 billion mile journey of the dwarf planet (Pluto is no longer considered a planet).

With recent images, Pluto is observed to be larger than previously thought. A historic day for the NASA space program. (I love space, only reason why I'm posting this haha)
