Some system changes in the newest build of KI by Max and Filthierich.

Faster auto doubles so its a bit harder to combo break on reaction, at least for lights.

Bigger stages, kinda Injusticy.

Potential damage has been tweaked a bit. For those that don't know, the new KI uses a weird mechanic where the damage builds up, and you have to cash the damage in with an ender. So basically 30% of the combo damage comes from the first 30 hits, then the other 70% comes from the last hit, a move that is specifically designed to end a combo(Those statistics are completely made up just to give you an idea). In the old sysem, if you dropped the combo before the ender, or got CBed, you lots a lot of your damage, but now that damage stays in the form of "white damage" similar to SF focus attacks. So now you have a chance to get that damage back, this is great because it opens up the doors for actual resets, since before if you dropped your combo early, you did shit damage.

I'm terrible at explaining things, so I'm sorry if that doesn't make any sense.

Update Part 2 is up now.

Yea hated how killer instinct discouraged entertaining combos, but at the same time see how combo breakers are needed. Maybe a limit to combo breakers would be nice. I picture a worse case scenario of pros so good they break out of combos like wager in injustice. And if that is the case I would fall asleep mid match.

If i recall it correctly in KI1 everytime you get a breaker your life would start to shine, with this you could do some stuff, like missile projectiles or something.
This system was improved in KI2 where there was some arrows meter that was built with chip, this allowed for Missile projectiles and C-C-C-Combo Breakers as well.

But i'm actually glad they change it, the new system with the white damage seems to be a perfect fit.

Where's TJ Combo?
Sometimes Ifeel like it should be better if breakers required meter but at the same time they r pretty risky.
