New Era's MB DF3 Setups

The only two setups I've seen so far are in the corner.
F212xxDF3B, D1, 24xxDF3B MB
then as they're getting up, do F3, and then B4. Sweep will launch.
and
F212xxDF3B, D1, 24xxDF3B MB
then as they're getting up do 111. OH will launch on connect.

I still don't have any nonexistent tick throw setups with him yet, and I'm seriously convinced that New Era is better than Infinite Warden just for the corner setplay using the MB sand pillar.
Let me know any setups you guys've found and created!

what do you do if they do a roll out of the corner? set play dead?
Nope. F212xxDF3B, D1, 24xxBF1 MB, D2, D2, jump back D2, 2xxDF3 MB. If they roll F1xxDF3B will catch and you can combo off of the MB DF3B.
You could probably use the MB DF3B to create tick throws with its blockstun but I haven't labbed it yet

Think I found a pretty dirty setup that I haven’t seen anyone use or talk about, but let me know if I’m behind the times. Amp sand pillar will combo off of F2,2. Best in the corner but it can even be used midscreen at a good distance. Midscreen if you’re about starting distance away and you have an amp pillar at their position you can do: F2,2,sand pillar goes off, F1,1+3,ender. I think this is one aspect of new era that is under explored at the moment.

I’m having a hard time getting a video on here.
I think I at least get what you're saying. I've been really enjoying NE variation's dynamism compared to IW, so I've really been trying to lab amped pillar setups. I think there's some quasi-legit dirt off of certain strings into it. For example, f212~amped pillar seems like it gives you roughly enough time to dash up and either f2 again (which would lead into your setup) or bf2 for the grab. And if they panic and jump, the pillar should hit them or you can read and jump splash on their heads. It's not airtight, but it's not awful. I'm just hoping for something a bit juicier.

Ya basically I was just surprised that F2,2 combos into it. One set up I was trying was F1,1+3, amp pillar. Then F2,2, pillar launches, F3, BF2.

For anyone interested burrito voorhes has been playing a sick new era at Combo Breaker where he actually uses the traps. Couple times I’ve seen him hit a three pillar combo from full screen.
