Greetings all, and happy holidays!

My name is Ron, and I am going to be hosting an MK event at my house in Newport, Rhode Island on January 12, 2013. Since we have a small scene, CRUM has been leading the charge to keep things alive, and now it is my turn to do my part! So here are the details:

  • Date: Saturday, January 12 2013
  • Time: 3:00pm Eastern (unless this does not work for people, this is flexible)
  • Events: Double elimination tournament (ft3), Tag tournament (possibly regional? RI vs MA? NH vs CT?)
  • Stream/Recording: twitch.tv/newenglandkombat

Food and drinks will be provided (pizza and probably beer) to all those who make the effort to show up.

There will be some special guests included Ninj, and CptXecution (you better show up you punkass haha).

Anyone is welcome that can get here! Lets make this a lot of fun guys!

I remember the guy at GU mentioning there's supposed to be another MK tournament at the end of January, so that'll probably be the next tournament in that area.

I can't make it unless the date gets changed. And obviously I wouldn't push that on anyone. My birthday dinner with my parents is this Saturday.

I'm at the drs office right now. Have had a cold since last Saturday. Gonna see what they tell me, as it just got worse instead of better after progressively getting better the past few days. wtf? I'll keep Deftonesrc updated.
