So i was watching toms new 214 clone ex slide vid but for some reason i couldnt do it, i started testing out what can provide an ex slide setup.

D4.

a slightly-closer-than-max-range D4 will allow you to ex slide you opponent in, i havent tested if they can move backwards to avoid it BUT.

a max range d4 followed by ex slide will catch anyone walking backwards for the same 30%

"what if they block low, duh, its a fully punishable slide?"

that means you can get a free 224/214, even if youre moving towards them you can still ex slide any moment to put em back in the clone.

Does ex-slide isn't a wast of meter except to push your opponent in corner or get damage against zoners ?

a d4 on hit is going to get your standing 2 follow up anyways, you dont need the threat of ex slide to do it.
