New Character Every Week Tryout Thread.

[Alright RyRy]

This is something I am starting this week. Just like the Title say, I will be using a new character every week. Once I got back from EVO I realized that I have a very low chance to go to any majors for the rest of the year so I wanted to enjoy MKX in a different way.

So I wanted to learn a new character every week and see how I do at my weekly with that character. I would like to see this grow at other scenes @Insuperable , @KH StarCharger , @Pnut , @LEGEND @EGP Wonder_Chef (Both are like me and learn every character) @EVB SomeCubanGuy @Big D (For the people that don't plan on attending any upcoming Majors.) @YOMI REO @YOMI MITYEAP Any other scene that I missed.

So just an Idea, I am going to keep this thread active and updated every week.

My New character every week is....

1. Warlock Quan Chi
2. Commando Kano
3. Hat Trick Kung Lao
4. Assassin Kitana
5. .......

So if you do not plan on attending majors for a while, please try this idea how and make a list and see how you do. @Tim Static maybe help promote this?

For my input. I'd like to say that high tech jacqui, special forces Sonya and deceptive reptile should be among the list.

Hi tech is already on my mind. I know SF Sonya, but I use Noxious Reptile , I can learn Deceptive.

Join the Commando club bruh. It's so much fun, and we can control fear! Taking him to my local over at Next Level NYC. I believe it can compete with top tier with enough character knowledge and footsie power.

I'm doing this actually to shore up some weaknesses in my game overall as a FG player. Learning cassie now, Johnny next, maybe jacqui around the corner

I, too, like learning multiples... mainly for match-up knowledge for my mains, Erron and Mileena. But due to work, etc. I can't dive in-depth in a week usually, it's just not enough time when I only get an hour here or there. But I support your endeavors.
P.S. Don't bother with Tremor...he's abysmal.

I've been doing this since the game came out. I like switching it up a lot. It may not help with learning the intricacies of every character but you learn some of their strengths and weaknesses so when you play them with your main you have an idea what to do.

I decided to do this also after he "TYM picks your main" thread. Kung Lao was the winner for me and it was pretty fun so I numbered the rest of the cast and am going to do rng to pick my main for the week. This week i got Jason, which will be a big jump from playing tempest Lao for a week

I actually did this from the start. I played almost every character for a few days and more than half the cast for a week. I found who I knew would be my character day one, but I only played him for about three days before going through the cast. About two weeks ago, I shrunk it to four. This last week, I've shrunk it to one - and my execution has become consistent. I suggest everyone go through the cast because its offered me insight and kept the game as fun as it was on day one. Don't let your ego get in the way. You can lose and still be who you are. Who you are needs no validation.
