Neutral Game in Injustice 2

Hey TYM! The first injustice was my first fighting game I got interested, but I only learned combos and the neutral game was always a problem for me in all fighting games - in most recent memory MKX was a total nightmare. So my doubt is: how neutral works in Injustice 2? My main is Batman so what buttons I should be pressing midscreen or up close? Thank you for your attention, it is really important for me to understand this before going online.

I highly recommend watching HomeLee's Batman.

As a general theme, Batman doesn't have any particularly good strings for the neutral game. He gets in with trait and a very good jump in mainly.
