After the fairly successful first edition here comes the next one, and like I told you guys earlier today, I'm determined to make this tournament better and better, every single time.

Here are the details for the event:

Event start time: Saturday January 14th 6 PM GMT
*Use www.worldtimebuddy.com to find out the time the event starts for you!
Tournament size and type: 16 players, two stage double elimination bracket
*Additional players will be put on a waiting list.
Tournament match format:
-All Pool matches are 2/3(Bo3)
-All Top 8 matches are 3/5(Bo5)
-Grand Final is 5/9(FT5)
-Character and variation lock for the winner are in place.

STAGE SELECTION WILL BE RANDOM OR TRAINING ROOM !!!
*I will personally stop and restart any match where this rule is not respected!

MANDATORY CHECK IN ON THE CHALLONGE PAGE STARTS 15 MIN BEFORE EVENT!
If you fail the check in you will be removed from the tournament and replaced with another player from the waiting list!
Please join the steam group chat at least 30 minutes before the event start time to receive relevant information on your matches!

After the tournament has officially started NO player substitutions will be allowed!
For players that pass the check in, the following applies:
If your assigned opponent is ready to start the match and you are not in the group chat or are in the group chat but not responding, then you have a 5 minute time limit to respond.
If the 5 minutes run out then you lose the match and you opponent moves ahead in the bracket.
Players are recommended to run on a wired connection throughout the tourney to avoid any connection issues and are strongly advised to open the correct ports in their router for MKX to run properly!

If a player gets disconnected during the first round of the match then match will be replayed.
If a player gets disconnected during the second round of the match one of the following will happen:
1.If the player that got disconnected won the first round then the match will be replayed!
2.If the player that got disconnected lost the first round then then match is over!
If the "game session ended" error occurs the one of the following will happen:
1.If the error occurs during the first round then the round is replayed!
2.If the error occurs during the second round the player who won the first round is awarded the match!
