Since Playing to Slander and several others are doing their best to make me look bad. Let me share my side of the story. My computer has been out of commission for the past several days cause it got a virus so I had to factory restore it. I also decided to just lurk and read every single post in multiple threads blasting me.
Before I start I want to say I think it is inhumane for someone to turn "face" for doing their best to slander and try to make someone look bad. Especially someone such as a Playing to Win. This face/heel nonsense this community uses is also pretty ridiculous. Everyone has an ulterior motive and p2w obviously is just trying to make King look good in this situation. It is also quite hilarious how King approaches me to squash our beef but then reinforces it by doing this.
Now for the facts of what happened starting with Scraps since I saw someone mention me being a scumbag and not wanting to play on PLAYSTATION 3.
First off me and Noobe are cool as hell. We kick it a lot at tournaments so there is nothing between us and we def didn't even talk about this afterwards. Everyone else however is making this a issue when it isn't even between us.
We all know playstation 3 has major slowdowns on a lot of stages whenever there is any background destruction or a lot of projectiles on the screen for example Zod doing Zod balls.
I refuse to play on PS3 in this game it is really bad with slowdowns as I have witnesses at multiple tournaments that I have attended that decided to use PS3. Yes Noobe's stick didn't work on PS3. I refused to play on PS3 as it is not my fault his 360 stick didn't get there in time. Smargasm talks about how he is going to DQ me because I don't want to play on PS3 at a Xbox 360 tournament. Why would I or anyone have to give Noobe or anyone in this situation special treatment? You don't show up to EVO with a 360 stick and expect them to bring out a 360 for you to play on and threaten to DQ the player who is there with a ps3 stick.
Anyway we decided to wait for Noobe's stick to get there so we could play. I wasn't ever saying Noobe had to be DQ'ed or should I be DQ'ed its nonsense.
Now onto me vs Forever King.
When I sat down I noticed there were 2 controllers plugged in before I plugged mine in. I had player 1 he was player 3 and player 2 was whoever. King who has a wireless controller with a batter pack and no charge and play kit. I have a Wireless controller with no batter and a charge and play kit connected so that it is a wired controller.
You all seen I hit King I am hella up on life during my combo which isn't even finished.
1 of 2 scenarios happened:
- 1. My charge and play kit became loose and disconnected my controller mid combo
- 2. The player 2 decided they were going to turn their controller of and go play casuals.
Before I really get into those two scenarios let me clarify something: You all saw me fumbling for my controller. Well the camera didn't show you what happened right before that.
As soon as I saw the controller disconnect icon I put my hands in the air to signify that I didn't do it. Upon doing that I ended up dropping the controller out of my hands, it fell on the ground and broke apart completely from the charge and play kit so now it REALLLLLLLLLLY looks like I dropped the controller and that is why there was a disconnect but that isn't what happened.
Of course we have Playing to Win who will sit and lie for his boy.......and everyone believes him....
Playing to Win and myself are on bad terms I will just put that out there. He is upset because I didn't want to watch the Youmacon grand finals between him and King cause I thought that he would body King 6-0 cause at the time I thought Batman lost horribly to Sinestro since the patch so I decided to go and get some food with IFC Yipes. I come back he asks me "did you see?" I was like nah it was free right? Hes like "no I lost" and I am just like damn I thought you were going to win for free.
Anyway we all know how sensitive P2W is so he is had a stick in his butt since then. I've never had anything against P2W but whatever so he has been holding this grudge forever. I don't really care.
I went off on a tangent for a bit so let me get back to the controller disconnect situation:
I was upset cause I felt like someone else disconnected (not me or king) and they were trying to blame me for the situation. Worst case scenario it was my controller. Fine I'm ok with that.
However as Rational Jim from Chicago said the situation shouldn't be in the players hands where you ask them "what do you want to do" its up to the official. These rules are so make up as you go at events nowdays.
Another thing I want to touch on. Ok lets get the scenario down. My controller disconnects the game pauses ok. It was during my combo. There is absolutely no reason why the opposing player who is getting combo'ed should be able to get the round.
For everyone saying I would've taken it. No it depends on the situation. You all do your best to paint me out like some scumbag but there have been plenty of times someone has paused on me and I didn't take the match, or someones buttons were wrong and I said ok lets just restart.
Why? Because I would want the same respect. Now if King paused in the middle of my combo yes I would've taken the match but if he paused in the middle of his combo then he just messed up his timing for his combo.
If anything in this situation we should've just unpaused backed up and resumed the fight, or see if I could resume and still finish the combo. Regardless it gives Forever King an advantage in breathing space because now my timing is messed up.
Another scenario. Giving him the full match? Really? You can just say "Well all King has to do now is deplete one of your life bars. Regardless I don't like the way it was handled and the current ruleset is flawed. There have been many times at EVO and other tournaments like Seasons Beatings in marvel where I have seen someone blue screen or pause (mas sticks have hella issues with dreamcasts) and they decide to just restart the match or recreate the situation from the match prior to the situation.
Now tackling ANOTHER issue. Me "yelling" at shock. I wasn't yellin at shock. I was speaking in general of all the things that upset me at tournaments in general. Laggy setups, janky rules, wireless controllers, ps3's etc.
Anyway Shock took this the wrong we and we talked it out like men and it was a total misunderstanding. I wasn't sitting there yelling at Shock. Shock thought I was coming at him a certain way and I had to explain to him what I was saying cause he thought I was shitting on Kombat Network which is nonsense.
Further more all of you shitting on KN need to cut it out. It is in no way their fault that in order to get the hotfix the 360 has to go online and it is not their fault that people at the tournament kept signing out of profiles so they would have to re hotfix the system. How is someone supposed to prepare for anything like that?
Anyway go ahead keep bashing me as a player/person etc. We all know as a player I will rise through the ashes as before. As a person none of you even know me to judge me.

Yea I rage quit. So what I wasn't in the mood to play anymore after going through all of that nonsense. My heart was gone so I was like whatever. I will come back stronger in the next tournament.
Also as far as REO goes. While I am sitting there venting because I said "Is there anyone here who can beat me straight up?" he says "lets play a MM" and I am like ok lets go but he didn't budge and just stood in the same spot.
Anyway I will see you all at Civil War.
