Maybe I'll have something to say ... Probably not
Ok so after seeing this thread (http://testyourmight.com/threads/diy-converters-to-use-ps3-and-360-controllers-on-ps4-or-xb1.48521/), and having read about the Undamned USB decoder on the SRK forums I decided to finally build one.
The pads used for the conversion are the Hori fighting commander 4 and the Hori Xbox One pad. I used these because they are both common ground and do not require trigger inversion. The plastic casing I got from Polycase.com, I probably should have got something a bit bigger or just cut the wires shorter.

So how the converter actually works is really simple. You plug in a double sided usb cable to one of the neutrik ports (silver for xbox one, black for ps4) and plug in your peripheral of choice to the other end.
Whatever you want to use does need to have a usb output is the only real problem, however you could just use another converter for that. ex. Say you used a ps2 pad in mk9, well plug that into your old converter and plug that into this converter and you are good to go. I don't know how to make a home button combination for that but someone better at this than me does I'm sure.
It's not the cleanest job but I think it is a good first attempt.
And for the last irrelevant part of this thread heres some images of my 2 Hitboxes one of which my dad and I built, and my qanba stick I got for CHristmas a couple years ago.
