Mortal Kombat vs Killer Instinct Coming in 2013, Confirmed?

Unless Mr. Ed Boon is being a horrible person by teasing this for what today is, April 1st "April Fools Day", is this proof enough to consider the fact that this might be a real thing next year?There have been other reports of NetherRealm Studios dabbing in to "Killer Instinct" and we all know the fans of both games want this, but is it true? Well, we'll leave that to you to decide. Until we get some kind of confirmation from Ed Boon or NetherRealm Studios in the near future... maybe E3?

Then again, Boon is always trolling, maybe this is a legitimate post...I could see Boon making an official statement on April Fools. Whatta dick! I'm not holding my breath, but that'd be great.

To be honest I would like a remake of KI in the MK9-nish style first (to let the community ballance it out as best as posible) then after MK10 a MKvsKI as a ultimate Netherrealm fighting game...

Does NRS know how popular this game would be? By doing this cross crossover KI vs MK...ALL the KI fans would pick it up and consequently pick up the next MK game. KI fans play SF, SC, MK, etc...

I for one would shit myself. I know he is a super troll but this is almost too big to joke about. I think it's gonna happen. WB got his back now

however, i cant help but wonder why a ceo would do something like this. i think KI has been hinted at many times by people in the MK team. one would begin to suspect that theres a reason to generate such a buzz about something that doesnt exist. future should be interesting

Seems like a 100% April Fools, no doubt

Anyway, since SF4 inspired NRS and Boon to come back with a 2D modern MK FG, and so, our beloved MK9 was born, so, if they follow the same mind plan , analysing SF x Tekken, maybe they could try to cross MK with a game that, could make more sense to a cross over, and never again try to do another ridiculous MK x DC ...... :D

The only game acceptable to a MK crossover idea : Killer Instinct, that's for sure :cool:

Guys, if Boon tweets about MK it is ALWAYS a joke. Pay attention to his tweets on a normal day... he NEVER tweets about MK... only things totally irrelevant to the MK Community... so when he DOES tweet about MK, rest assured it's a troll.

STORMS , please take this off the front page before Ed is encouraged to troll more...
