Here are my list of who can do the role for the next movie. Again, this is a "dream" or fantasy cast. So its not even going to happen but really nice if they did.

Liu Kang: Jason Scott Lee

Kung Lao: Jet Li


Shang Tsung: Chow Yun Fat


Kitana: Megan Fox


Mileena: Eliza Dushku


Raiden: Jason Statham


Sub, Scorp and Reptile: Any martial artist of course. The ones in MK1 the movie were the best in my opinion.

Maybe even Shinnok?

What do you guys think, who would you like to see? What about actors that are possible in the next movie, if ever? :)

I approve of Jason Statham as Raiden!!!!! And i always approve of megan fox.

i love the list without a doubt.... you really nailed this one but the only one that i don't quite understand

is raiden... because isn't raiden asian in all the mk video games? if so then he should be asian in the movies

too...

Great list, You were on the money with kit, shang, and kang..here are some other alternatives:

Lao - Jet li is too small, but im still determining a better answer
Mileena - Replace Eliza w/ Adriana Lima (vs model)
ninjas - I think Brandon Lee would of been good
Jax - W. Snipes is too small, im thinking Carl Weathers (think predator, rocky)

Im going to think about this further lol...

Jason Statham looks more like Kano to me, with the bald head. Chuck Liddell would also make a good Kano. Cheik Kongo or "Rampage" Jackson would make a good Jax.

I agree about Jet Li. My little brother is big into Asian films (from China and Hong Kong especially), if I asked him who would make a good Kung Lao he could come up with a perfect match in about three minutes. Too bad he's in Mexico and I can't e-mail the stupid kid...

I also agree that Wesley Snipes is too small to play Jax, but Carl Weathers is too old. Maybe like 20 years ago. Rampage is also a little too small, but he definitely has a great personality for that type of role.

Not that the world needs another MK movie... no harm in having a little fun, though :)

I don't know about Jason Statham doing Raiden. He's a pretty brute guy and Raiden is intellectual. I thought the guy in Annihilation did a good job.
I would really like to see Chow Yun Fat play Raiden with the MK1 hat.
