Ed Boon describes the ways that had to take certain characters as well as how wide of a variety their characters range from. You also hear from Kevin Tancharoen as he speaks on behalf of the feedback he got regarding what he did vs the capabilities he had filming.

Excellent stuff. You can tell Boon put his time heart and effort into this franchise when he talks about it. He's probably the happiest out of any one that MK9 was finally made.

I'm not too sure if I trust Tancharoen's vision to do MK justice since Legacy was so hit and miss with me. He says he cares about the franchise and the characters, but sometimes that isn't enough. I hope I'm wrong.

Cool but mysticism in Mortal Kombat is too big a word. You meant. "magic". Because ultimately there is no mysticism here mysticism infers belief or communication too some bullshit. Where as what we are seeing here is I want to throw a fireball. Thats motherfucking movie magic!
