The only downside to season 2 was it felt very disjointed with all the flashbacks. Other than that, I enjoyed it a ton. Darker Liu Kang was amazing, Kenshi was awesome, and bringing back Cary Tagawa was a perfect decision. But the main thing is you can really tell Kevin loves Mortal Kombat. He grew up with it, he cares about the story and at the end of the day just want so make something really cool for himself and for his fellow fans.

Legacy gives me hope for the movie. Hopefully this will be the first VG movie that doesn't hit game over.

That was ok, but I prefer the actor the played Raiden in Season 1. I thought he did a better job as Raiden.

That's more or less how I felt about it. My biggest gripe is this silly gritty, reality tv/crime-drama-like feel they are going for. That may work for CSI or Law & Order, but this is Mortal Kombat. It's supposed to be all about supernatural/mystical/sci-fi, martial arts inspired, slightly wacky characters and storylines. I also detest it when a new producer/director comes along and they always feel the need to "re-imagine" everything. Not just with MK, but with every franchise (I dislike what they did to the James Bond and Castlevania franchises). If they don't want to follow the established storyline from the games, do a prequel, or a sequel, or in-between something. Don't mess with cannon, bitch, as Jesse from Breaking Bad fame would say.

IMHO, Mortal Kombat Konquest was a much better small screen adaptation of Mortal Kombat.
