Over the weekend was the Chicago Comic & Entertainment Expo (C2E2) 2018 in....well, Chicago.
Featured at this expo was an panel of considerable interest to Mortal Kombat fans everywhere...the reuniting of the entire cast of Mortal Kombat 2!

With Baraka (the one and only Rich Divizio), Liu Kang (Ho Sung Pak), Raiden (the legendary Carlos Pesina) Cage/Sub Zero/Scorpion/Reptile/Smoke (Daniel Pesina, Jax (John Parrish, who's only gotten more jacked, somehow), Kitana/Mileena/Jade (Katalin Rodriguez Ogren), Kung Lao (Anthony Marquez) and Shang Tsung (Phillip Ahn, who is now a goddamn doctor) all in attendance....basically, if you have a favourite character, odds on they're here.
Seriously though, how has John Parrish got even more jacked?
As loathe as I am to admit this, there aren't really many of my customary smart-ass remarks to make on this, it's just a really good panel for Mortal Kombat fans everywhere, particularly for those of us with an interest in the old school arcade days. It's just damn enjoyable and guarantees a fuzzy wave of nostalgia when you see the whole crew reunited. Go watch it, it's awesome.
