The swerve is real!

The abrupt announcement feels like a response to the leak.

Nonetheless, the news is fabulous for the game and the community.

Even if there is no season 3, another pro tour will force WB and NRS to continue supporting the game by other means.

Glad this is finally out in the wild and great to see MX represented already offline. This is likely the trip that Grr won at Blink Respawn, had the tour been immediately after the last I imagine Blink could have been a stop as well. Excited to see if this alongside all the changes injects some life into some of the ecosystems out there. Not expecting crazy $ either but we will see

MK competitive scene is so strong right now. There are 5 massive online events running and two of them have international brackets... plus we have the kombat league S2. That is not even counting the huge majors like Rumble in the Jungle and Vienality and stuff.

The community has really rallied and produced one of the best competitive scenes in the FGC with very little help from WB. KL season 2 is another great feather.

I wish the scene was this strong when I was playing MK9.

MK9 had no online scene so there is no doubt the online scene now is stronger. But the off-line scene and overall community were significantly more united than then now. The community now is more divided than ever.

When there is no playable online mode, there is no healthy online scene ...
What a weird compare ...

The offline league is a damage control PR move, who is even behind it? Did Mr. Aquaman reached out for it?

I will watch some stream for sure, I like spectating offline events

ps: dont forget guys, end a match with throw and hold Up+2 :D

Man, people on TYM really hate the 1st amendment ...

I think that is just a perception thing... it may seem that as we are all old now and outside of it and not involved. Still, I think it is just as strong, maybe stronger, but it is different that is for sure. Still, like anything, if you went to the locals and competed in them you were part of it, same with the online scene that is around now. I mean have you ever hung out in R1p's or COTR's discord with literally 100s of active players all swapping tech, chatting, challenging and then playing in the event.. along with 100s of other people like me just chilling, then sit in a 700+ chat chan for the event, and that is EVERY SINGLE weel with r1p and repeated at all the other big online ones.. there are 5 massive ones I know of and I also know that there are at lest 3 tghat are foreign language I do not pay attention to. There are division, but only as the entire scene is so much larger.

Pictured: Tom Brady committing to never talk about MK again.
Why do you even believe it? :D
Passion is a beast ..., this news was really unexpected.

(Can some oil prince send sikkander to offline pro-tour events?
We need at least one salty Sub main )

IceClone for commentary

He’s just doing this for reaction, only this time I don’t feel like arguing with him. I said I was done playing MK1 and I never returned to it since saying that. However, he and many others added a few stipulations such as never talk about any Mortal Kombat or Mortal Kombat in general ever again.

This thread is to discuss the Pro Komp season two. It's not to air our your personal laundry, jealousy, or attack players with fake information. If you can't discuss the events that are coming up, then please do it somewhere else.
