Hey Everyone,

This thread has been started to get people in Montana and the surrounding areas to hop off their horses and mash some combos. I live in the Western side of Montana, and I'm looking for players here, or in nearby areas. My roommates and I play, were pretty decent, but you can only play the same people so often before you get bored, and with PSN being down, it's become more challenging.

We are looking for players, whether you be casual or competitive, to play with. The gaming scene here is pretty desolate, and we aim to change that. We're always welcome to people who need a place to play, and if we get enough players, I would be happy to run a local tournament.

I'm in a near character crisis.
I'm from the East side of Montana, trying to raise a scene here in MT. Been playing a lot of MK, and I would LOVE a local tournament.

Good stuff. The fighting scene does seem pretty scarce out that way. I looked and couldn't find anything in Idaho, but Montana is right next door. I'll add you Admiral since I'll be joining the Wharf more often and we both play Quan Chi. Woolay!

Oh, sweet. I'm only a 9 hour drive and an hour flight away from Seattle. I might be able to see if I could go. I've been really wanting to go to an actual tournament but I doubt I would do well. Not that it matters, it would be fun regardless and a great learning oppurtunity.

Definitely man, you should go. Even if it's to spectate and play casuals. This is gonna be my first tournament. Plus, from what Pagan told me, it's like 60 dollars a night for the hotel.

Well I'm definitely going to see if I can make it. I wouldn't mind actually playing in the tourney but I have 0 offline experience. Wish I had someone to practice with. But I'm stuck to watching streams and playing online.

Sunday Night Bar Fights

When: Tomorrow at 7:30 P.M.
Where: Feruqi's
Venue: Free
5 dollars per tournament

Games played for tournaments are:

Mortal Kombat 9
Ultimate Marvel Vs. Capcom 3
Super Street Fighter 4 AE 2012

Winnings are split: 40/30/20/10

Also, KOF13, SF Alpha 2, and others will be played afterwards and during, casually.

Last time this happened, there was $1 pints of PBR, so you know what that means!!!


Anyone free on Sunday in the Missoula area should definitely hit this up. It's running on a bi-monthly schedule. Also, Missoula Fight Club is usually held every Friday.

EDIT: Those games listed before are the standard, unfortunately I was misinformed. It's retro night (discos, afros, and el caminos). The games that will be in the tourney are:

Mortal Kombat 2 (PS3)
SSFIIHDR (Xbox 360)
Marvel Vs. Capcom 2 (Xbox 360)

There will be a few setups for casuals and you're welcome to bring MK9. I know I am.
