exactly. and its still fake as hell.I know what we'll do. We'll make the same game again, except we'll slip in the dogtag collection from crysis 2 and make our killstreaks more like homefront. Those games didn't outsell our games, but we need their ideas because our games really aren't that good, despite our robust sales. Not as many people bought those other games.. so who will even notice that we stole their ideas?
Upon further investigation, the Elite package is really only for DLC and like community feedback and shit, which seems worthless IMO. Because, if you want DLC, you're gonna have to pay for it anyway. The free service still offers everything like the old COD games and file sharing, probably for replays like on Black Ops.So, on top of paying $60 for a carbon copy of the game they released last year, they expect you to pay for the "Call of Duty ELITE" package that is most likely going to be $10 a month.
Activision is such a great company.
QFT. Plus... sometimes its good to hear the cries of 12 year olds as you melt their tiny little faces (yes... i use COD as a stress reliever and to study in between rounds).I don't play COD because it's original. I play because it's of it's arcade-ish feel and because everyone else I know plays it. It's like how people buy the same sports title every year (not me, but, COD is my madden I guess). I don't think they're doing anything new or groundbreaking, but I always buy them, because I know I can jump in with 5 other people on my friends list and have a good time. You know what i'm talkin' about.
16 you say? Fck. Yes.I like that they're going to be 16 maps already on disc
One problem i have with the franchise is they milk us out of money with all these new map packs.
If I could only have one, I'd still pick MW3
I'll just leave this here....
