Yo, everybody. MonkeyBizness here, hope some of you remember me from metaphorically and literally swallowing salt on the Toryuken pools stream, against @GGA Wafflez . In losers round 4 or something, in a Jax mirror. I also commentated there with @Jer, that guy with the USA hat that didn't fit on his head in a Monkeybizness shirt was me.)
(FYI link here.) (Anybody have that archived?) He pulled a comeback x-ray on me to win, it was awesome. I have the LOUD crowd video, KDZ was in a fit when the 3/5ths screen x-ray hit me... and I was left with 1%, ayyyy, spoilers.)
Note: this is off-topic, but here it is, that's what I look like.
I'm posting to inform ya'll that our Buffalo scene is definitely strong enough to not hide from TYM anymore, especially since I just finished the fourth of what is presumed to be eleven highlight videos of Buffalo's great MKX players.
Obligatorily, I'm going to ask you to subscribe for more future player compilations and MKX humor.
In this thread, I'll detail the logistics of the Buffalo Fighting Game Community, and get you people hype to watch our streams that we're now confident enough to promote, by showing you the skills of 4 character specialists in these highlight videos, which I'm now making for players by request. (You can have one, for free, probably.)
However, if you show to our venue, GameONLAN (The modern LAN center/arcade with incredible levels of comfort and cool lighting and SPACEhttp://www.gameonwny.com/ ) to play, the highlight video will be free, and will be a first priority, as the point of these is to rile up the MKX competition in preparation for Buffalo's upcoming regional tournament, Rumble In the Tunda 5: where MKX currently has a thousand dollar pot bonus. BFGC's stream is http://www.twitch.tv/gameonesports as our venue is GameOn, and we owe having a stream to them. But don't worry. We don't act Esports. Ever. For evidence of that fact, check out our most recently highlighted and not deleted stream. http://www.twitch.tv/gameonesports/v/7546100
Please skip to a point where the audio becomes reasonable, and keep in mind that players have probably improved since that session about a week and a half ago.
And with that, I'd like to end this post by having a moderator add the GameOnEsports stream to this site's MKX stream list. hmmm, which moderator should I pick? The one I know best is @Hollywood DMS, so, DMS please?
We're looking to become rivals with the Toronto scene, and YOMI gaming... when I'm confident enough, I will proclaim Buffalo's new scene name... BLOMI gaming! (BLO is how Buffalo is abbreviated for airports and stuff, teehee! Buffalo YOMI!) And then I'll mirror match YOMI Slayer for the Kung Jin title, in a Shao Lin VS Bojutsu exhibition... But we'll save that for Rumble In The Tundra.
If you're in the area, come on out on Wednesdays from 7 to 12, and Saturdays, 12 pm to whenever.
We'll be starting local weekly tournaments on Saturdays, soon, maybe next Saturday! I'll keep ya'll updated. Thanks for reading and watching if you did all that, folks.
