As game was compared to Game of Thrones early in development (by devs themselves), since then several references have been spotted, post here if you found more of things like these:
Mileena - Geoffrey
Rain - Loras the Flower Knight (they even both suffer severe burns at some point in each story)
Kotal Kahn - Stannis (his role and his character's specific sense of righteousness typically through creating problems, also that thief execution scene was there for a reason)
D'Vorah - Melissandre (that getup and her role of controlling Kotal while being dubious by herself)
FerraTorr - BranHodor
Kano - Khal Drogo (even if just from design perspective, while Kotal takes the role partially as barbarian king)
Outworld Civil War - War of Five Kings
"Trial by Kombat" (Kung Jin vs Kotal) - Trial by combat in Eagle's Nest (where Tyrion gets freed)
Mileena's disturbing execution scene - Red Wedding
Sub-Zero Ending - Mother of Dragons
Erron Black as gun/blade for hire may very well be a reference, but I can't yet put my finger on it.
