MKX Character storylines

What do you all think the storylines for the characters should be for the new game?

One of there endings should go canon somehow.

ex.
- Johnny losing control of his powers
- Sonya leaving the city for a while after losing her friends
- Sektor taking over the Lin Kuei
- Jade possessed by a spirit
- Smoke's powers as an enenra
- Kano taking control of the entire computer system

Some of the original endings may become cannon, but most of those endings were parodies and jokes. Like the ending for KItana where her, jade, and mileena basically become Charlie's Angels, the Kano ending which he becomes Skynet
